Amazon Studios Launches the Largest Led Wall Virtual Production Stage in the United States.
Two days ago, Amazon Studios revealed the largest LED Wall Virtual production stage in the United States, which is considered the next generation of film and TV creation. The unique LED stage is 80 feet in diameter, and 26 feet high, making it a foot shorter, smaller than the one located in Vancouver, considered the world's largest.
Reginald Hudlin -producer of movies such as Django Unchained, House Party, and Serving Sara- was the one in charge of cutting the ribbon that inaugurated the stage during the launch event that occurred this Monday night. Hudlin's forthcoming Amazon Studios feature Candy Cane Lane, which will have big stars as Eddie Murphy and will be the stage's first official project, with several scenes planned for shooting within the LED wall forum.
Amazon's decision to launch its own studio will have a significant impact on virtual production in general since they're creating multiple projects for Prime Video, Freevee, MGM Studios and MGM+ (better known as Epix), and even co-productions with other studios for shows such as The Boys.
